Terms and Conditions of Sale For custom cakes

The following terms and conditions apply to orders for baked goods including wedding and custom cakes and other items) from Amelia's Cakes and Gourmet Desserts LLC.
1. For any baked items that costs $200.00 or more:

    A. A non-refundable deposit of 50 percent (50%) or $300, whichever is greater of the price of the item is required, at the time of the order is placed to reserve the item for a specific time. If the order is completed, this deposit will be applied to the price of the cake. If the order is canceled, or if the Customer does not make the additional payments when they are due, Amelia's Cakes will retain the deposit.

    B. The final payment of the balance of the price of the item is due 2 weeks prior to delivery, with the exception of wedding cakes. Full payment of any wedding cake is due 18 days before the date of the wedding.

    C. If the order is canceled by the Customer at any time up to and including the fourteenth day before the delivery date for the item, all money paid by the Customer, except for the fifty percent non-refundable deposit, will be refunded to Customer.

    D. If an order is canceled less than 14 days before the delivery date, Amelia's Cakes will retain all money paid by the Customer. However, if the Customer wishes, the money paid by the Customer can be applied toward the purchase and delivery of another custom-baked item, provided that the new item is delivered within 60 days after the original delivery date.

2. For any custom-baked item that costs less than $200.00, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the price is due at the time the order is placed, with the balance due 3days prior to delivery. If the item is to be picked up or delivered within 1 week, full payment is due when the order is placed. No refunds will be given unless under the discretion of The Management.

3. By placing your order, this agreement (which will be provided to the buyer when ordering), the buyer has agreed to color, design(s) and flavor upon placement of the order. The buyer also agrees that upon final payment and pickup or delivery of the order, that they accept the product "as is" and no refunds will be issued.
